The Safest setting doesn't fully turn off JS, but you also have uBlockOrigin functioning which will stop most nasty JS commands. Being on Whonix helps as well, as I understand. In future, remember to change javascript.enabled in about:config to false to avoid possible JS issues. Now, all that being said, people who have more techincal knowledge than me might have input on this beyond what I know.
