- /u/rusty108 3rd November, 2023 - 15:08 Xanax being illegal in Aus is a common misconception if you’re referring to prescribed Xanax. I was prescribed alprazolam for about a year by a doctor just a few years ago. Most pharmacies only stock generic brands such as alprax but I did get genuine Pfizer Xanax sometimes when available.
