- /u/ihaveagun1234 📢 🍼 29th March, 2024 - 20:15 I currently have nothing to hide, and there isn't anyone trying to "catch me". I'm just not comfortable with my ISP having that knowledge. Lets say I am a completely normal user that is using a VPN, at first glance my ISP would have no clue that I am using Tor right? Because all my traffic goes straight through the VPN and then to the Guard Node Addressing your 2nd and 3rd points, thanks for the OBFS4 bridge suggestion but I have no idea of what that new type of HTTP bridge is, I will look into it. Also maybe I didn't express myself correctly but my question really boils down to: Is using a VPN with Tor hurting my OPSEC? Are there any downsides to using a VPN with it? Thanks for taking your time to reply and sorry if im making stupid questions.
