- /u/Nomad2 12th April, 2024 - 16:16 WY is a good state to use for LLC's I have heard something about the laws changing so not sure i havent read up on it or anything so not sure if it going to effect WY LLC's. Also your set up and how you should do it really depends on your goals and what you are trying to hide/ accomplish. If your trust is in the US you can have all kinds of umbrellas under your WY LLC and it dont matter because my understanding is the trust (depending on how you set it up) is in the US and they will/can just freeze and take that as well. If you are planning to set all this up and plan to have some decent cash going thru it that you are trying to hide, not pay tax on, etc. You need to look offshore because at the end of the day if the US gov wants information and all your dealings are in the US the gov are going to get them. but those are just my thoughts because it all depends on your goals of what you are trying to achieve by setting all those up.
