DNM - Ordering to a Post Office?

- /u/ukganjaganja 26th April, 2024 - 13:13 Royal Mail as it's up to vendors. I certainly wouldn't ship to a DO in your own name, same for an actual post office.

Looks too weird. In RMs eyes, if you're ordering using their service or frankly any other company, why would you not just get it sent to your house? Or a relative/friends house? - Of course, we both know the reason.
You get something delivered there, they check if you have an actual address they deliver to usually, sure there may be a few names similar/the same based on area but if one of those names is flagged as "has had packages seized from x origin country", they may investigate it further.
furthermore, going to a delivery office and asking for a parcel without a red slip will look strange. you'll then have to explain "why" you had a parcel delivered to the DO instead of your house or similar.


Please bear in mind I have no knowledge of RMs inner workings, this is just my own thoughts.

Pay a friend to get it delivered to their gaff or risk it and go to yours. Don't do it to a DO/Post office

If you're ordering to a PO box, no issues. If you're ordering to the delivery office itself, I wouldn't.
