Where can I find good Leaks??
- /u/MadHatterExpressed 2nd April, 2024 - 19:25 LMFAO... Legitimate and good databases aren't leaked. Much less for free. Elsewise data wouldn't be worth anything value wise...

Is using a VPS better opsec?
- /u/MadHatterExpressed 12th March, 2024 - 02:07 A VPS or RDP connection properly done is more secure. But with the questions I've seen you ask (no offense) you'll likely create a more traceable link (ML is strong) then just worrying about securing a single network.

Is using a VPS better opsec?
- /u/MadHatterExpressed 12th March, 2024 - 23:32 Sure thing maybe I didn't clarify! It's became common knowledge to me (perhaps not all. My fault) that multiple tor nodes and servers are within LE control or access. So that hop is useless without proper protection before it.

I'll use your example to try and explain the best I can.

VPN to VPN is useless due to this fact alone.

It's easy to see 111.222.333 send data to 444.555.666 on repeat. And it's actually how network traffic flow is flagged and most cyber security advancements are following. As ML grows it's becoming increasingly easier to trace connections between each other and with TOR Nodes being exposed it doesn't add much protection.

All this to say is if they see VPN 1 constantly sending and receiving data to VPN 2. And VPN 2 is on a tor node (or has been) that's compromised. It won't be a huge game to link them back! (Even more so when data centers hand over data very often)

A more secure route is using hacked servers or VPNs. As they'll have other inward and outward network traffic. But best bet is ALWAYS focus on securing your inward network before reaching external things like VPNs!

Hopefully that helps a bit

Is using a VPS better opsec?
- /u/MadHatterExpressed 12th March, 2024 - 02:11 Heads up, no point routing VPN into another VPN. It offers no defense only creates a more recognizable chain. Goal is to look like anyone else as much as possible! If you ever start getting investigated and are like that it'll be a hot spot.

But highly depends on what you're doing. Believe op spoke of hacking but this is so basic I wouldn't imagine they're facing LE risks
