International shipments awaiting clearance and love letters

When it comes to international shipments, after how long with the latest tracking update being awaiting clearance (inbound) do you think the shipment isn't arriving? From my experience, it usually takes under 1 day to progress for shipments that arrive, but those that don't never get past this. I've seen some people on reddit and whirlpool recently say they've had packages (which I assume are legit) take a while to progress past this stage (or are still waiting), so I'm not sure if something taking longer than 1 day or so means it's gone at this point.

Also, I never have nor know of anyone who has received a love letter that a drug shipment of theirs got seized, rather we have just had non delievered shipments If you don't get a letter, does that maybe it means it wasn't seized (so the shipment didn't arrive perhaps due to wrong paperwork etc), or can it be seized and just no letter sent through?

Love letters will come for prescription due to potential of the recipient having a prescription to present for the consignment. Illicit packs will be treated in a different way and it's unpredictable what action can take place if seized. Arrival to AU customs and then cleared for delivery usually ranges from hrs to a day or two. Untracked, not sure on clearance times. ✌️

I can tell you from personal experience that not getting a love letter doesn't mean you're in the clear.

If they slip through then the time from arriving at facility to being processed by facility is generally a few hours. On rare occasion a day, but any more than that and almost certainly seized. You would then receive a love letter in about 2 weeks from that date unless you were being very naughty in which case you will receive no letter, but instead have a controlled delivery like some friends had recently and then you will be raided (this might occur several days after receiving the package). This info relates to prescription goods. I'm not sure about "actual" drugs, but I've heard you do not receive a letter for those; either a no-show or raid.

Love letter exist for prescribed drugs. Why have law to allow import of prescription then crash door down. Cocaine not prescribed...

After 3-4 days safe to say it's gone from my experience Melbourne(24-36 hours) is quicker than Sydney (24-72 Hours)
