The fact that some vendors were willing to pay large sums to protect their customers is a testament to the misguided sense of loyalty in this ruthless and untrustworthy environment.
Speculations about whether this is a law enforcement trap, a hack, or an inside job are rampant, but the truth remains unclear. What is clear, however, is that Incognito and its leader, Pharaoh, have no place in this community anymore. Their actions have caused irreparable damage, and they should disappear before causing further harm. At this point it seems like Pharaoh, is getting off on tricking people, and doing any further damage that he can.
The darknet has always been a volatile and unpredictable place, but Incognito's betrayal has taken things to a new low. I told Hugbunter 2 weeks before that they were going to post an April Fools message, something just seemed weird about them doing it on April 1st to me.

Thanks for sharing yet another in your series of excellent YouTube videos. While it might have been good publicity for those vendors who paid the extortion that they cared about protecting their customers everyone should know that once a person gives in to blackmail the person who collects realizes that he has a fish on the hook and if he leaves it in the water a bigger fish might come along to eat the hooked smaller fish and then be reeled in by the fisherman. Why not go back for an additional fee to assure priority deletion of that vendor's customer data? After all we knew Pharoah had already exit scammed so who should have any trust at all that paying extortion would change the outcome? Instead now every time that a currently operating market has a temporary down time due to ddos all of the exit scam announcements are quickly posted because people are so on edge. Thanks Incognito!
