Don't believe everything you hear. The DN is full of FUD, and you can probably find similar stories about Monopoly and Darkmarket if you just look hard enough.

If there are veteran vendors that know the Empire Market admin IRL, the market won't be around for long anyway.
One of the vendors inevitably goes bust, spits out everything he knows to avoid sentencing, and the market turns into a honeypot.
However, that shouldn't matter anyway since, if you're following proper OpSec procedures, even if LE controls the servers, your transactions are perfectly safe.
