Hi all first time posting!

I am thinking of travelling from the country where the kiwi birds live to the place in the states where the spurs play and I was wondering if it's incredibly stoopid to order something 5 days before I leave to get delivered to the hotel?

Or if there might be a better option seeing as I'm only there for a few days.
