(wondering how to bring in normies) it would have to be something beyond what the darknet currently offers and offer things that aren't offered on the clearnet that they really want. It also needs to be something that isn't already offered to them on apps like tel but that may be a good place to market to folks to use more secure tools.

If you really want to make the crypto-war, then archive all monero code-source and compiled packages. Tip or pay people in crypto-currencies like twitter in Monero, they will use it and find it more easy and affordable than some altcoins or Bitcoin in transaction cost-fees. More you spread tools like monero & Tor, less totalitarism can threaten people (look how telegram got spreaded)
