Kali Linux virtual machines have M1 support. Check out their site!

VMware Fusion I know you said free but it's easy to pirate and works on M chip macs.

What's a good pirating site? Right now I mainly use Cmacked and TPB, but I'm always looking for alternatives.

torrentmac is where I get the majority of the software I need. Otherwise I mainly use TPB or 1337x. Not sure where I pirated VM ware Fusion from but I'm sure if you search the main torrent sites you'll find it.

Just be careful with pirating software like that. Products like that are an attractive place to hide malware.

Agreed. People are still naive and think Macs can't get viruses. Just be aware that anti-virus software can incorrectly flag pirated software as malware so just be sensible and check what people have said about the torrent and try to only get magnet links from trusted members.
