My house in under maintenance so it's in the worst state of security. It is night here, about an hour or two ago my mom heard the sound of a door opened and closed quickly, she thought it was me but I was just chilling on the sofa near her, I was focus on something else so I didn't really notice. She rushed to ask auntie who was in a room nearby and it wasn't her either. My dad work far from home so it's only the three of us, we all are on high alert now.

The potential home intruder might still be upstair which is where my house is renovating, it's dark and currently have no electricity, we don't dare to go check upstair. We are now holed up in the living room. I have sprung a sound trap so if anything it will alert us right away, I have already prepared a weapon just in case, downed two packs of instant coffee to stay up through the night, already put on my armor which is a thick leather jacket strapped with books inside just in case they have a knife.

Shit, it's gonna be a long night, about 5 more hours until morning. I'm awake, anxious and stressful. I hope it's nothing, I hope the sun rises soon.
